Nighthawk A Young Airman’s Tour at Clark Air Base.  is a story of where we have been and where we are heading. During the two years of writing with Bill Bowers, we connected and became bound to each other by the story. It was his story; it was my story; it was our story. A few months ago, I realized it was everyone’s story.

I Believe in Nighthawk A Young Airman’s Tour at Clark Air Base.

On many levels, it is a story of humanity, with love, mistakes, fear, and failure. Nighthawk shows us the meaning in our own lives. Nighthawk makes us want to keep fighting for the things we want.

Although this story defines Bill and sets him apart as an individual, it draws others in and connects them to his story. I did not serve our country, nor did I know any of the people in his book; but upon completion of the story, I felt like I knew each character. I felt like they had become my family.

Nighthawk is Powerful.

Nighthawk is packed with moral conflict that eventually resolves. Nighthawk is messy and full of confusion, but also provides answers and a sense of completeness. Nighthawk is about people and places, not ideas and concepts. Nighthawk will change the way you look at your own life.

Nighthawk is the solid truth, absolute, and certain; but also contains sensitivity, self-doubt and a hint of mystery. Nighthawk is fueled by a natural momentum that ignites passion in the reader to find out more about Bill and those he served with.

Nighthawk is Real

Just like life, Nighthawk is loaded with bait and intrigue, with suspense and tension, and at times provocative.

Through Nighthawk, readers learn the secret to living a better life. Nighthawk challenges you to tell your story. Nighthawk invites you to discover your hopes and dreams without fear of judgment.

Nighthawk lets you find yourself between the lines of text. Nighthawk is where life is lived: stuck somewhere in between a major plot point within the chapters. The stories are true, and some things are simply implied, which makes the story compelling.

Nighthawk Connects

Bill’s ability to connect the dots of his past experiences and share a cohesive personal memoir inspires readers to forge a desirable path to happiness. Bill taught me that we are all storytellers. Individually, nobody knows your story better than yourself. Our lives are blank pages waiting to be written. And, most of us are too afraid to show our true selves to the world.

Upon completion of Nighthawk, I realized I no longer stared out into the distance wondering, “What am I going to do with my life?” All uncertainty in my life vanished and I discovered myself.

So Bill Bowers, thank you for the power of your story and reminding me that all of us have lives packed with tales worth telling.
